The Uttar Pradesh government has initiated a comprehensive review of tourism and religious infrastructure projects across all 18 administrative divisions, introducing a field-based evaluation system aimed at strengthening transparency, accountability and the effective utilisation of public funds.
Odisha to develop INR 8,300 Cr coastal highway to boost tourism, connectivity
The project, to be executed by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), will be developed at an estimated cost of INR 8,300.79 crore. Over six crore tourists, including 2.4 lakh foreign visitors, visited Assam in the last 10 years, the state Assembly was informed.
