The Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, in association with the Travel and Tourism Association of Goa (TTAG) and SKAL International Goa, concluded its month-long landmark celebrations under World Tourism Day 2025

As per an official order, Rajesh Kumar has taken charge as the new Director General of Tourism, Government of Uttar Pradesh. He is an IAS officer from the 2004 Uttar Pradesh cadre. In his previous role, he served as Commissioner in the Food Safety & Drug Administration Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.

For the first time, the Directorate of Tourism, Uttar Pradesh, has invited proposals from investors to develop and operate farm stay accommodations across the state. This new initiative aims to position Uttar Pradesh as India’s agri-tourism pioneer, creating immersive rural tourism experiences that celebrate farming life, village culture, and countryside hospitality.
