Vertex Travel is backed by a INR 75 crore investment designed to operate as a strategic MICE partner rather than simply a travel agency.
Vertex Group, the New York-headquartered global enterprise services and transformation company, has marked its 10th anniversary with the launch of Vertex Travel, its tenth business vertical, marking the Group’s entry into India’s corporate travel and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events) sector. The launch also marks the appointment of Vikram Malik as Chief Growth Officer (CGO), Vertex Travel. With experience across the travel and hospitality industry, Malik will spearhead the vertical’s growth strategy, industry partnerships and client engagement as Vertex Travel builds its presence across India’s corporate travel and MICE ecosystem.
The launch marks a defining moment in Vertex Group’s decade-long journey of growth and diversification, bringing its “10-on-10” milestone to life: 10 years and 10 business verticals, with Vertex Travel becoming the latest addition to the Group’s expanding portfolio.
Designed specifically for the evolving needs of India’s corporate and business events ecosystem, Vertex Travel is positioned as an AI-enabled, human-led MICE platform, bringing together programme design, supplier sourcing, logistics, on-site management and post-event analytics through a unified model.
The new vertical will launch with an initial INR 75 crore investment over 18 months, focused on building specialist talent and digital infrastructure in India. Vertex Travel aims to capture over 10% of India’s MICE market by 2030, as the sector continues to expand and enterprises increasingly seek more integrated, technology-enabled and personalised business travel and events solutions.
India’s MICE market is valued at USD 49.4 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach USD 103.7 billion by 2030. Yet the sector continues to face challenges around fragmented service delivery, rising costs, complex logistics, multiple vendors and the growing demand for personalised experiences. Vertex Travel is being built to address these challenges by combining technology with human expertise, creating a single platform through which enterprises can access planning, execution, local market expertise and measurable post-event insights.
Malik said, “Business travel and events in India are undergoing a major transformation. Vertex Travel is focused on creating a seamless, high-value experience for enterprises and travellers, blending human insight with technology to deliver measurable results for our clients and partners.”
Vertex Travel will be supported by a network of Destination Management Companies, hospitality partners, production partners and tourism boards across Asia, the Middle East, CIS and Europe, enabling enterprises to access local expertise while maintaining consistent service standards across destinations.
The vertical is designed to operate as a strategic MICE partner rather than simply a travel agency, combining Vertex Group’s technology capabilities, enterprise relationships and operational expertise to deliver tailored and scalable solutions for business events and corporate travel.
Gagan Arora, Founder & President, Vertex Group, said: “Launching Vertex Travel as our tenth vertical is a reflection of Vertex’s journey over the last ten years and our commitment to shaping the future of corporate travel in India. We see tremendous potential in the MICE sector, and with Vertex Travel, we are introducing an integrated platform that combines people, technology, and insight to meet the needs of a rapidly evolving market.”
Looking ahead, Vertex Group has set an ambitious vision to build a diverse team of over 10,000, develop a global network reaching 100,000 professionals, and create 1 million opportunities worldwide, alongside its roadmap to build a INR 1,000 crore global enterprise services business.
