Air Arabia to add daily non-stop flights to Germany’s Düsseldorf

Aviation Ministry to reduce landing, parking charges for domestic carriers by 25%
The Ministry has issued directions to the AERA to reduce landing and parking charges by 25% for 3 months from the prevailing tariff at all major airports under its purview. These measures are expected to reduce the charges payable by airlines by approx. INR 400 crores.

Director General, Willie Walsh said that with tight capacity and thin margins, air fares are already rising, and the capacity deployment is also adjusting, particularly for traffic to, from, or through the Middle East, or in areas where fuel supply is an issue. Capacity growth scheduled for March, has eased to 3.3% from earlier predictions of over 5%.
Finnair to start new long-haul flights to Melbourne in October 2026
The flight, scheduled to depart from Helsinki, will be operated daily via Bangkok with an Airbus A350 aircraft. The first flight is expected to be on October 25, 2026, subject to government approval.
