More than 100,000 travel agencies in 190 markets can issue flights of more than 350 partner airlines on Hahnair's HR-169 ticket stock, benefiting from a ticketing solution that combines global airline access with service and security.
Hahnair has announced that it has reached a milestone of more than 60 million insolvency-safe tickets issued on its HR-169 ticket stock since 2010. The figure comprises all tickets issued since the introduction of Hahnair's complimentary insolvency protection Securtix.
Automatically included with every HR-169 ticket, Securtix provides reimbursement if a flight is cancelled due to the insolvency of the operating carrier. The protection also supports stranded passengers who have already started their journey. In addition to a refund for the unused portion of the ticket, passengers may receive compensation for replacement transportation, accommodation, meals and other expenses. Travel agents are also compensated for the additional efforts involved in assisting affected customers, as per this airline.
