Air Arabia to add daily non-stop flights to Germany’s Düsseldorf

Düsseldorf becomes Air Arabia’s third destination in Germany from Sharjah, joining Munich and Frankfurt in the airline’s growing European network. Air Arabia will operate the new route with an Airbus A320neo, with flights starting on December 16 this year.
The budget carrier Air Arabia has announced the launch of daily non-stop flights between Sharjah and Düsseldorf, starting December 16, 2026.
Düsseldorf becomes Air Arabia’s third destination in Germany from Sharjah, joining Munich and Frankfurt as part of the airline’s growing European network. The new route will be operated by Air Arabia’s Airbus A320neo, offering customers a modern and comfortable cabin experience.
Commenting on the announcement, Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer, Air Arabia, said, “The launch of our new daily service to Düsseldorf marks another important milestone in the expansion of our European network and further strengthens connectivity between the United Arab Emirates and Germany. With three destinations now served non-stop from Sharjah, we continue to enhance connectivity between the UAE and Germany while offering our customers greater choice, convenience, and affordable travel. Our focus remains on expanding our network and delivering reliable, value-driven travel.”
Lars Redeligx, CEO of Düsseldorf Airport, highlighted the significance of the new route: “We are very pleased to welcome Air Arabia to Düsseldorf. Connections to the Middle East and the Gulf region have been an important part of our international network for many years. The new daily service to Sharjah further strengthens these links. Travellers from North Rhine-Westphalia and neighbouring regions in the Netherlands will also benefit from Air Arabia’s extensive network across the Middle East, South Asia and Southeast Asia.”
The addition of Düsseldorf further broadens Air Arabia’s European network from Sharjah, which now includes Milan Bergamo, Munich, Vienna, Athens, Prague, Krakow, Warsaw Chopin, London Gatwick, Rome, Frankfurt, Katowice and Gdansk.
As per the airline’s official update, customers can now book their direct flights between Sharjah and Düsseldorf by visiting Air Arabia’s website, contacting the call centre, or through travel agencies.
