Lapland recorded an 89% increase in Indian overnight stays in 2024 compared with 2023, followed by a further 20% growth in 2025, demonstrating sustained demand rather than a one-year surge. Finland also reportedly attracts the highest number of Indian overnight stays among the Nordic countries, giving the destination a strong competitive position and growing brand recognition in India.
