VFS Global launches South Korea visa application centre in New Delhi

With the recent additions of centres in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and Colombo, Sri Lanka, VFS Global now manages six Korea Visa Application Centres across three South Asian nations

VFS Global has announced a significant expansion of its South Korea visa services across South Asia. In India, the company currently operates Korea Visa Application Centres in New Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Kolkata. To further improve the application process, VFS Global has inaugurated an upgraded visa centre designed to provide a more streamlined, convenient, and personalised experience for travellers.

Lee Seong-ho, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to India, officially inaugurated the new Visa Application Centre in New Delhi on September 15, 2026.

With the recent additions of centres in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and Colombo, Sri Lanka, VFS Global now manages six Korea Visa Application Centres across three South Asian nations, bringing its total to nine facilities spanning six countries worldwide. This expansion coincides with VFS Global celebrating 25 years of facilitating international mobility and connecting individuals, businesses, and governments through visa, passport, and citizen services.

Speaking at the inauguration, Ambassador Lee said, “This is an important step in further strengthening the relationship between the Republic of Korea and India. The new centre has been designed to provide applicants with seamless, efficient, and accessible application experience. We appreciate VFS Global’s continued support and look forward to further strengthening our collaboration to facilitate travel and promote greater people to people exchange between the Republic of Korea and India.”
