The venue was launched in the presence of key industry stakeholders and representatives from the Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA).
SkyDome, the world’s third-largest immersive event dome, has officially opened in Kukas, Jaipur, establishing a major large-format venue for destination weddings, live entertainment, and experiential events in the region. Designed as a stage for large-scale immersive productions, the property aims to elevate Jaipur’s standing as a global hub for next-generation events. The venue was launched in the presence of key industry stakeholders and representatives from the Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA).
The inaugural event featured a 500-drone outdoor light show. SkyDome features an extensive library of customizable immersive environments to deliver multisensory experiences for diverse event formats. The launch also featured an industry conference hosted by the Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA) to launch EEMA Weddings, which brought attention to Jaipur’s potential as a wedding and events destination and the growing opportunities within Rajasthan’s hospitality and live-events ecosystem.
Sachin Mutreja, Director, SkyDome said, “India’s tourism and live-events sectors present a significant business opportunity for destinations looking to attract more visitors and diversify their offerings. With India’s organised live-events industry projected to grow, SkyDome brings large-format immersive event infrastructure to Jaipur at an opportune time. Here is a space where imagination takes centre stage, where technology opens new possibilities, and where the next generation of extraordinary celebrations can come to life. We aim to build partnerships across hospitality and event production, generate business opportunities for local stakeholders, and strengthen Jaipur’s appeal as a destination for weddings, entertainment, and large-scale events.”
The opportunity is also reflected in India’s expanding live-events industry. According to the FICCI-EY report Unlocking India’s Media and Entertainment Economy, released in March 2026, the organised live-events segment grew 44% in 2025 to approximately INR 14,500 crore and is projected to reach INR 19,600 crore by 2028.
With its immersive audiovisual capabilities and indoor-outdoor event spaces, SkyDome aims to expand Jaipur’s capacity to host a wider range of events and experiences. The venue creates opportunities for event organisers, wedding professionals, hospitality partners and brands while adding to the city’s offering for visitors seeking celebrations, entertainment and large-scale productions in Rajasthan.
