The Telangana Government has approved an administrative sanction of INR 13 crore for the development of tourism infrastructure and boating facilities at Mattapalli Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Huzurnagar constituency of Suryapet district.
According to a government order, the project will be executed by the Telangana Tourism Development Corporation Limited (TGTDC). The proposal follows a request received for enhancing visitor amenities at the temple. TGTDC's engineering team conducted a site inspection and prepared detailed project estimates amounting to INR 13 crore, which were subsequently submitted to the state government for approval.
The sanctioned project aims to strengthen tourism infrastructure at the temple while introducing boating activities to enhance the visitor experience and broaden the destination's recreational offerings.
The government order states that the expenditure will be met through funds earmarked for tourism infrastructure development and the upgradation of tourism facilities. Following the approval, TGTDC has been directed to initiate the necessary implementation process.
