Tourism activities in the core zones of the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) will be suspended for three months from June 30 to September 30 as part of the reserve's annual monsoon management measures.

According to authorities, restricting tourist access to the reserve's core areas during the monsoon is a standard practice undertaken each year. The rainy season is considered particularly sensitive for wildlife, while waterlogged tracks and other weather-related factors can affect visitor movement and safety within the forest.
The temporary suspension is aimed at supporting habitat conservation efforts while allowing the ecosystem to regenerate during the monsoon months. Tourism activities in the core zones are expected to resume following the conclusion of the seasonal closure, subject to prevailing conditions and official directives.
