Surat's Dumas Beach draws over 25,000 visitors daily

Surat strengthening its position as a coastal tourism destination with the Dumas Sea-Face and Eco-Tourism Park Project. Led by the Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC), the initiative aims to transform the city's iconic Dumas Beach into a modern, environmentally sustainable waterfront destination.

According to online reports, once recognised primarily as a local recreational spot, Dumas Beach now attracts more than 25,000 visitors every day, reportedly reflecting the growing appeal of the destination and Gujarat's emphasis on sustainable tourism development.

Designed by Ahmedabad-based INI Design Studio, the project aims to blend the area's natural coastal landscape with upgraded public infrastructure and visitor facilities, creating an eco-friendly destination while enhancing the overall tourist experience.
