IndiGo set to launch direct flights between India-Tanzania from Nov 2026

The airline currently operates direct services from India to Nairobi, Mauritius, and Seychelles.
IndiGo announced the launch of daily, direct flights between Mumbai and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, effective November 20, 2026. With this addition, the airline becomes the only Indian airline to offer direct connectivity between Mumbai and Dar es Salaam.
India and Tanzania share a longstanding relationship built on trade, commerce and cultural exchange. India is among Tanzania’s largest trading partners, with growing engagement across sectors including manufacturing, agriculture, and healthcare, among others. The introduction of daily direct flights is expected to further facilitate trade, investment, tourism, and educational exchanges by enhancing connectivity between India and East Africa.
