IHCL signs a Taj Hotel in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu

With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 35 hotels in Tamil Nadu, including 16 under development.

The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a Taj hotel in Rameshwaram, Tamil Nadu. 

A greenfield project, the 300-key Taj Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, is being developed across 70 acres in a phased manner and will include a wellness centre.  The hotel will feature two speciality restaurants, a bar lounge and a pool bar. For meetings and social gatherings, the hotel will offer spacious banquet venue, convention spaces and meeting rooms. Recreational facilities will include a swimming pool, fitness centre and a spa with multiple treatment rooms.

With the expansion of NH87 to 4 lane highway, the redevelopment of the railway station, and the proposed domestic airport in the region, Rameswaram is witnessing improved accessibility, strengthening its appeal as spiritual and leisure destinations.
