Hilton strengthens AI-powered booking ecosystem with new integrations

The brand is developing a Claude Connector that will bring property images, details and pricing into Claude, giving travellers more context as they plan a stay.
Hilton is executing a multi-platform digital strategy designed to compress the path from travel inspiration to confirmed reservation. By embedding AI assistants across the hospitality ecosystem, the brand is transforming conversational search into a high-conversion acquisition channel, ensuring Hilton properties remain a primary choice in an increasingly automated marketplace.
The recently launched Hilton AI Planner, on both desktop and rolling out in the Hilton Honors App, brings a more natural rhythm to trip planning on Hilton.com and the Hilton Honors App. Through conversational prompts, the generative AI-powered digital concierge helps travellers explore destinations, compare properties and shape a stay around what matters most to them.
In the coming weeks, travellers will be able to discover Hilton through AI Mode in Google Search, where they can explore properties and compare options as part of a conversational planning experience in this newly introduced hotel booking feature. Travellers can also now incorporate Hilton Honors Points into their stay searches within AI Mode, using prompts like, “Show me hotels in San Diego I can book with Hilton Honors Points for the first weekend of September” or “Best hotels in Miami for next Thursday to Sunday to use my Hilton Honors Points.” Then, when they are ready to book, the user will be redirected to Hilton.com to redeem their Points and complete the booking.
For travellers who prefer ChatGPT, adding Hilton’s plugin brings Hilton property information directly into the conversation. Once added, they can ask Hilton-specific questions, explore hotel recommendations and learn more about the hotels before continuing to Hilton.com to book. In addition to partnering with Google and ChatGPT, Hilton is also developing a Claude Connector that will bring property images, details and pricing into Claude, giving travelers helpful context as they decide where to stay.
Once a stay is booked, the Hilton Honors App carries the experience forward, allowing guests to check in, choose their room and use Digital Key at participating properties. In-app messaging keeps hotel support close at hand and with Connected Room technology, guests can enjoy a personalised in-room experience or even control the room’s technology from their own phone, making the stay feel as seamless as the journey that led there.
Michael Leidinger, senior vice president and chief information officer, Hilton said, “As travellers’ needs evolve, we are at the forefront of hospitality technology, developing experiences that create more seamless journeys, anticipating what comes next and leaving room for the unexpected.”
