Gorakhpur's Chilua Tal to emerge as eco-tourism & water sports hub: CM Adityanath

Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday said Chilua Tal in Gorakhpur would be developed into a major eco-tourism and water sports hub on the lines of Ramgarh Tal under the next phase of the lake's development project.

Addressing a gathering after inaugurating tourism development works at the natural lake located on the northern edge of Gorakhpur city, Adityanath said the project reflected the government's commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable tourism.

The tourism infrastructure developed at Chilua Tal at a cost of over Rs 20 crore was dedicated to the public by the chief minister.
