The strategic three-day pilgrimage circuit will connect 11 temples across the state.
The Goa Tourism Department has officially launched the ‘Ekadasha Teertha Yatra’, a strategic three-day pilgrimage circuit connecting 11 prominent temples across the state. This initiative is a core component of the government's “Goa Beyond Beaches” campaign, aimed at diversifying the state’s tourism portfolio and attracting a broader demographic of spiritual and cultural travelers.
The circuit was inaugurated by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant at the Shree Mahaganapati Temple in Khandola, North Goa. The event was attended by Tourism Minister Rohan A. Khaunte and Kedar J. Naik, Chairman of the Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC).
To enhance accessibility and visitor experience, the Department of Tourism, in collaboration with the GTDC, has also introduced two dedicated buses that will operate along the pilgrimage route.
