FLY91 commenced operations to Tirupati, with Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu inaugurating the airline’s inaugural flight. The launch marks the addition of Tirupati as FLY91’s 13th destination and its third destination in Andhra Pradesh.
The new services connect Tirupati with Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Rajahmundry, creating direct air links between the city and three regional centres. The expansion further strengthens FLY91’s presence across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, where the airline serves four destinations.
FLY91 will operate a daily service between Tirupati and Hyderabad. The Tirupati–Vijayawada service will operate four times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, while the Tirupati–Rajahmundry service will operate three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, Union Minister of Civil Aviation, said, “Tirupati is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites in our country. Every day, thousands of devotees from all corners of the nation visit Tirupati to seek Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy’s blessings. This added direct connectivity by Fly91 to Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, and Hyderabad will offer faster and more convenient travel options for devotees. And I am also working towards making special efforts to establish a direct air link between Tirupati and international destinations like Kuwait for convenience of devotees from various parts of the world.”
“Tirupati is an important addition to our network and takes us another step forward in building stronger regional connectivity across Andhra Pradesh. By linking Tirupati directly with Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Rajahmundry, we are making it easier for people to travel between these important regional centres. For us, regional aviation is about creating practical connections that serve the everyday needs of the communities we fly to,” said Manoj Chacko, Founder, Managing Director & CEO, FLY91
