Black Rock Hotels & Resorts names Nilay Saran as Vice President – Sales

In his new role, Saran will spearhead hotel’s sales strategy and commercial development.

Black Rock Hotels & Resorts has appointed Nilay Saran as Vice President – Sales, strengthening its senior leadership team as the hospitality management company expands its portfolio and commercial presence across key markets.

Saran brings over 26 years of hospitality experience, spanning sales leadership, commercial strategy, business development, hotel pre-openings, multi-property sales, MICE, destination weddings, key account management, and strategic partnerships. During his career, he has been associated with leading hospitality companies including Marriott International, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, and IHG, as well as independent and emerging hospitality businesses. In his new role, Saran will spearhead hotel’s sales strategy and commercial development. His mandate will include strengthening regional sales offices, developing key feeder markets, driving account acquisition and building scalable sales processes across the group's portfolio. He will also focus on building high-performing sales teams and strengthening coordination between regional and property-level sales functions.

The appointment comes as Black Rock continues to scale its hospitality portfolio, with a growing focus on larger-format hotels and resorts, destination weddings, MICE and leisure business.

On joining the company, Saran commented, “Black Rock is at an exciting stage of its journey. I look forward to strengthening our sales network, deepening key market relationships and building a commercial framework that can support the company's growing portfolio.”
