Bihar launches Heli Tourism & Air Tourism Service Scheme

In Bihar, Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary launched the Bihar Heli Tourism and Air Tourism Service Scheme at a function. An online booking portal for the service was also reportedly inaugurated on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said the scheme has been launched to promote tourism in the state and enable visitors to explore Bihar more conveniently. He added that the weekly air tourism service will be expanded into a daily service in the future.
In the first phase, the service will connect Patna, Valmikinagar, Maa Mundeshwari and Rajgir. The state government will reportedly provide a subsidy of up to INR 15,422 per ticket. The helicopter tourism service will commence on July 18 and will operate every Saturday and Sunday.
