Army, administration launch portal to boost border tourism in North Kashmir

Indian Army in collaboration with district administration of Kupwara, launched a tourism portal and a magazine on Sunday to promote tourism in border areas of North Kashmir, officials said.
The portal titled 'Shumali Kashmir' (North Kashmir), and the North Kashmir Tourism magazine, have been conceptualised, designed, published and hosted by the Indian Army, they said.
These initiatives aim to enhance the region's digital presence, improve access to tourism-related information and showcase the rich cultural, historical and natural heritage of North Kashmir to a wider audience, they said.
