8fold by LaRiSa marks debut in Punjab with new property in Amritsar

The hotel offers room categories suited to families and groups travelling together and in house restaurant.

LaRiSa Hotels & Resorts has announced the launch of 8fold by LaRiSa, Amritsar Heritage Walk — the newest addition to the 8fold Hotels. With Amritsar, the brand opens its doors to the guests visiting Punjab for the first time Set inside Amritsar's Heritage Walk precinct, the hotel places guests on the same lanes travelled for generations by pilgrims making their way to the Golden Temple.

The hotel holds room categories suited to families and groups travelling together, and an in-house restaurant shaped by Amritsar's own food culture. Everything here comes back to one idea: a place to return to at the end of the walk and set out again the next morning.

“Amritsar has always meant something to travellers, long before hotels even came into the picture; people have been walking these same lanes to the Golden Temple for generations. With 8fold, we wanted a stay that respects that rhythm rather than getting in its way: somewhere simple to return to at the end of the day,” said Priya Thakur, Founder & Director, LaRiSa Hotels and Resorts.

8fold by LaRiSa is built on the idea of mindful and uncomplicated hospitality. 8fold by LaRiSa, Shimla has spent nine years welcoming travellers in North India.
