Vivanta by Taj – Connemara recently presented a special tribute to commemorate 375 years of Madras. VK Chandrassekaran, Executive Chef, Vivanta by Taj – Connemara recreated one of Chennai’s most well-known landmarks, the Chennai Central Railway Station, in pure chocolate. The cake was cut by Dr. S Muthiah, the catalyst of the Madras Week celebrations and an acclaimed historian, and the Vivanta by Taj – Connemara team, including Samrat Datta, General Manager, in honour of the city’s long-standing legacy.
Speaking on the occasion, Datta said, “The history of this hotel and the city is intertwined and as we enter a new era, embracing the contemporary service philosophy of the Vivanta by Taj brand, we are proud of our rich colonial legacy.”
