Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC) and Novotel Jaipur Convention Centre, managed by Accor, appointed Vikas Sood as General Manager.
Sood reportedly brings more than 29 years of experience in the hospitality sector, spanning luxury hotels, property operations and the MICE industry. His professional experience also includes extensive exposure to the convention and exhibition business. Over the years, he has held leadership positions with several prominent hospitality groups, including The Leela, Accor, Marriott International, Hyatt and Taj Hotels, across hotel operations as well as convention centre management.
In his new role, Sood is expected to draw on his experience across hospitality and large-scale events to oversee the integrated operations of JECC and Novotel Jaipur Convention Centre.
Sood will be responsible for its operational and commercial functions, covering conventions, exhibitions, MICE programmes, weddings and other events. His experience across luxury hospitality, Accor properties and large-scale convention and exhibition operations will support the complex as it continues to serve a diverse range of business and social events.
