Vietnam’s first Park Hyatt Resort to open in Phu Quoc this December
Park Hyatt Phu Quoc - 3 Bedroom Beachfront Pool Villa
Pairs 114 guestrooms and suites, 54 pool villas, and The Manor, with a floating seafood restaurant and Park Hyatt’s first rhythm-led spa, with 65 hectares of lotus lakes and 1.7 kilometres of white-sand beach on the island’s southwest coast.
Park Hyatt Phu Quoc is expected to open in December 2026 as the first Park Hyatt resort in Vietnam, welcoming guests for the festive season and New Year celebrations. Conceived as a contemporary Vietnamese Village by the Sea, the resort is designed to feel like a private seaside residence, combining Vietnamese character with the comfort of home.
Inspired by traditional Vietnamese coastal villages, where several generations live, cook and gather together, Park Hyatt Phu Quoc is arranged as a collection of courtyards, shaded pathways and gardens woven with the natural landscape and leading down to the sea. Balancing community with privacy, the resort will have 114 guestrooms and suites, 54 pool villas, and The Manor, an eight-bedroom private residence.
The resort’s story will be told through the fishermen, farmers, artisans and cultural voices who shape the island. Guests will be able to join rice farmers in the paddies, learn open-net fishing techniques, start the day with a sunrise lotus blessing or visit the Whale Temple to learn about the island’s sea-honouring traditions. Beyond the resort are black pepper farms, traditional fish sauce houses, the trails of Phu Quoc National Park, and coral reefs rich in marine life. For younger guests, the Kids’ Village is designed as a miniature village with culinary classes, dance studios, and craft workshops.
For dining, there is The Courtyard serving as the village centre, bringing together six dining venues, two infinity pools and a sunset bar. The culinary programme includes Fisherman’s, a floating restaurant above the waves where guests select seafood from a live tank; Herbs & Spice, serving third-generation Vietnamese family recipes; La Maisonette, for French Riviera-inspired dining; Pepper Grill, celebrating Phu Quoc’s pepper heritage over an open fire; Pool House & Bar; and the Living Room, dedicated to Vietnamese coffee, cacao and chocolate.
Set beside a lotus lake, SOMA Wellbeing is Park Hyatt’s first rhythm-led living spa, influenced by circadian rhythms and natural cycles. Traditional Vietnamese treatments will be complemented with modern recovery tools such as infrared masks, biotech loungers and compression therapy.
Notably, Park Hyatt Phu Quoc is just 25 minutes from Phu Quoc International Airport. Phu Quoc has direct international flights from Singapore, China, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Hong Kong, South Korea and India. Park Hyatt Phu Quoc is now accepting reservations for arrivals beginning December 18, 2026.
