Travog & Mastercard bring new travel and expense card to digitise business travel spending

The Mastercard-powered card will connect bookings, payments, expense controls and real-time reporting on Travog’s unified travel and expense management platform.

Travog, an AI-powered travel, expense and payment management platform powered by QuadLabs, has entered into a collaboration with Mastercard to launch the Travog travel and expense card. This is a payment solution built for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) seeking greater control over business travel spend.

The card will be integrated with Travog’s travel and expense management platform, helping companies manage bookings, payments, approvals and reporting in one place. Business travel remains difficult to manage when booking data, card transactions, reimbursements and policy approvals sit across separate systems. Finance teams often see the full cost of a trip only after expenses are submitted, making it harder to control spending, enforce policy and close reconciliations on time.

“Business travel payments should be simple for employees and transparent for finance teams. Our collaboration with Mastercard brings payment, policy and travel data together in Travog, helping organisations manage spend as it happens instead of after the trip is over,” said Gaurav Chiripal, CEO of Travog.

The Travog travel and expense card is designed to solve this gap by linking payment activity directly with travel bookings and expense workflows. Employees can use the card for approved business travel expenses, while organisations can apply spending limits, policy rules and approval controls before and during the trip.

“Business travel and expense management are becoming strategic priorities for organisations that need better visibility, control and efficiency across every transaction. By bringing Mastercard’s payments capabilities together with Travog’s integrated travel and expense platform, we are helping businesses move from fragmented processes to a more seamless, secure and data-driven way to manage spend,” said Omoke Adebanjo, Senior Vice President, Merchants and Commerce, EEMEA, Mastercard.

For finance and travel teams, this means cleaner data, faster reconciliation and real-time visibility into travel spend. Card transactions, booking records and expense claims can be viewed within the same Travog environment, reducing manual follow-ups and helping organisations identify policy exceptions earlier. The solution brings together Travog’s AI-powered self-booking, expense management, approval workflows and analytics with Mastercard’s global payments network and payments capabilities. It is aimed at organisations looking to modernise business travel management without adding another disconnected payment tool.

Travog already supports organisations across APAC and the GCC with tools for booking, policy compliance, expense capture, approvals, reimbursements, dashboards and reporting. The Mastercard-powered card extends that ecosystem by bringing controlled payments into the same workflow.
