Tourism India Alliance to host TEX 2027 at Mayfair Lake Resort, Raipur from Jan 7-8

The event is expected to bring together more than 350 delegates and 50+ exhibitors from India and overseas. Registrations for TEX 2027 are expected to open shortly.

Tourism India Alliance (TIA) has announced that the next edition of its flagship event Tourism Exchange (TEX 2027) will be held from January 7th to 9th, 2027, at the Mayfair Lake Resort, Raipur.

TEX 2027 is expected to bring together more than 350 delegates and 50+ exhibitors from India and overseas. The event aims to serve as a dynamic platform for tourism professionals to connect, learn, collaborate, and explore new business opportunities across the tourism ecosystem.

“The selection of Mayfair Lake Resort adds a special dimension to the event. Widely regarded as one of the most iconic hospitality destinations in Central India, the resort is a destination in its own right. Set amidst beautifully landscaped gardens and overlooking serene banks of Jhanjh Lake, Mayfair offers a unique blend of luxury, nature, and world-class convention facilities, creating the perfect environment for networking and relationship building,” said Ritesh Mundhra, Chairman – TEX 2027 Organising Committee.

“TEX 2027 is being designed around a simple yet powerful vision: to showcase the tourism potential of the entire state of Chhattisgarh, not just its capital city.” – Mukesh Jain, EVP – TIA. “Most industry events introduce delegates to a venue or a city. Our objective is larger. We want every delegate attending TEX 2027 to leave with a deeper understanding of Chhattisgarh as a tourism destination and discover experiences they can confidently promote to their clients,” he added.

Tourism India Alliance is planning a series of exclusive destination familiarisation programmes that will take delegates beyond Raipur and into some fascinating tourism circuits. The pre-event familiarisation tours including Sirpur & Barnawapara, Bhoramdeo & Saroda Dadar, and The Temple Trail are scheduled from January 6–7, 2027. And a post-event familiarisation Tour to Bastar is scheduled to take from January 9–11, 2027.

“By combining business networking with destination discovery, TEX 2027 aims to create lasting value for both delegates and destinations. The event will provide opportunities for travel professionals to build partnerships, gain fresh insights, and explore emerging tourism products while experiencing first hand the diversity that Chhattisgarh has to offer,” noted Jagdeep Bhagat, President - TIA.

Registrations for TEX 2027 are expected to open shortly, with further announcements regarding exhibitors, hosted buyers, sponsorship opportunities, and delegate participation to follow.
