The Utah Office of Tourism, the official state agency that promotes travel, advertising, and economic growth across Utah, USA, has appointed Sartha Global Marketing LLP as its representative in India. This strategic partnership marks the destination’s continued focus on expanding the rapidly growing Indian outbound travel market for the state.
Sartha will lead Utah’s engagement in India with the travel trade and media by implementing a range of public relations and marketing initiatives, positioning the state as a compelling, year-round US destination for Indian travellers.
India’s relevance as an international source market for Utah is steadily rising. India ranked ninth in visitor spending for the state in 2025, and forecasts suggest visitor spending from India could grow by 16 percent between 2024 and 2030, driven by a combination of long-haul aspiration, improved air connectivity into the US, and Indian travellers’ growing interest in experiential, nature-led itineraries.
According to Rachel Bremer, Global Markets Director at the Utah Office of Tourism, “By partnering with Sartha, we plan to expand our outreach in the Indian market and position Utah as a premier travel destination for aspiring travellers. This appointment builds on our growing travel trade and media network and destination awareness in India, generating greater interest among potential Indian travellers.”
“With the state’s unique topography, endless outdoor adventures, and a diverse range of experiences for all ages throughout the year, we hope to inspire more Indians to discover this beautiful destination,” added Sheema Vohra, Managing Director at Sartha Global Marketing.
