The Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI) has elected Tejbir Singh Anand, Managing Director of Holiday Moods Adventures Pvt. Ltd., as its President for the 2026–2028 term, replacing Ajeet Bajaj.
The elections, held on September 1 in Delhi, saw all five office-bearer positions filled unopposed, signalling continuity and a broad consensus within the association. The new leadership team for the two-year term includes Vaibhav Kala (Aquaterra Adventures India Pvt. Ltd) as Senior Vice President, Ronny Singh Gulati (Youreka Campouts Private Limited) as Vice President, Paras Loomba (Global Himalayan Expedition) as Honorary Secretary and Yog Chinmay Dutt (Junoon Adventure & Eco Tours) as Honorary Treasurer.

Anand brings extensive experience in adventure and experiential tourism to the role. He has been associated with ATOAI in several leadership capacities and is the co-founder of Holiday Moods Adventures. ATOAI is a national body representing India's adventure tourism operators, with a focus on responsible and sustainable growth of the sector.
Speaking on the occasion, the newly elected President, Anand, said, “As we take this leadership forward, the new incoming team is deeply committed to building upon the strong legacy created over the last thirty years. Our core focus will be on delivering tangible membership benefits, fostering active mentorship, and truly listening to the evolving needs of our community. By encouraging and equipping our members to adopt the highest operational and safety standards, we will strengthen the industry from within and firmly establish India on the global map as a premier, responsible adventure destination.”
Also, the newly elected leadership assumes responsibility at a significant time for the Indian adventure tourism sector, as the country seeks to unlock the full potential of its mountains, rivers, forests, coasts and diverse adventure destinations.
The election results for the Office Bearers and Executive Committee were announced during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the Financial Year 2025–26. The AGM brought together members of the adventure tourism fraternity for an important day of institutional review, accountability and collective direction. The proceedings included the presentation of the Annual Report for FY 2025–26, consideration and adoption of the Audited Financial Statements, appointment of the Statutory Auditor for FY 2026–27 and discussions on matters concerning the Association and the wider adventure tourism sector.
Presenting the report and addressing the AGM, Arshdeep Anand, former VP, highlighted ATOAI’s continued commitment to building a stronger and more responsible adventure tourism ecosystem in India. Over the past year, ATOAI has continued to work towards strengthening safety, sustainability, professional standards, training and capacity building, while deepening engagement with government institutions, tourism authorities and industry stakeholders.
