The new partnership broadens CME’s mission, adding music tourism to CME’s work with other parts of the music economy, where it is establishing the path, partnerships, and policies to accelerate the role and impact of music to eradicate poverty by driving growth, creating jobs, and improving local economic conditions.

Meeting in Riyadh, the Organisation’s General Assembly formally ratified her nomination and showed their strong support. She will begin her term at the start of 2026, having gained significant experience in the private sector, most notably as Corporate Vice President at Rotana Hotels.

The Ministry of Tourism initiated and led the kibbutz’s nomination as part of a broader strategy to promote unique local communities on the global stage.

Featuring four categories, the awards are designed to recognise initiatives that drive sustainability, innovation, social impact, & more.

The arrivals were 33 million more than in the same period of 2024. The growth is about 4% above pre-pandemic levels. Some of the highest growth rates among large destinations in H1 2025 were recorded by Japan and Vietnam (+21%), the Republic of Korea (+15%), Morocco (+19%), among others.
