The first charter from Manchester arrived on November 5 with 282 passengers, followed by the second charter from London Gatwick on November 6 carrying 288 passengers.

Besides the smart move towards regenerative tourism, Kedar Naik, Director of Tourism, Goa shared that the domestic travellers remain the backbone of Goa’s tourism economy, and the state is strategically building new reasons for repeat visits. To further tap new international source markets, Goa is actively introducing direct flights from Russia, Poland, Kazakhstan, and the Middle East.

Goa Tourism focuses on enhancing visitor experiences through cultural, adventure, wellness, and heritage-based offerings under the “Goa Beyond Beaches” initiative.

Roadshow was organised by Department of Tourism, Government of Goa at the City Palace Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on September 15, 2025. The roadshow drew an enthusiastic response from leading tour operators, travel agents, airline partners, and dignitaries from Uzbekistan.

Goa records 8.4% YoY with 5.45 million tourist arrivals including 5.18 million domestic and 0.27 million international tourists from January to June 2025.

Notably, the state has tapped into emerging markets such as Poland, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.

The state’s strategic submissions at conference focused on aligning national aviation policies with the requirements of tourism-centric states.
