Star Air strengthens Goa’s connectivity with direct Mundra route

Goa's domestic air connectivity reportedly has received a significant boost with the commencement of Star Air's new non-stop service between Manohar International Airport (GOX) and Mundra (MDA), Gujarat. The service began operations on June 23, will operate five times a week from Tuesday - Saturday.
The new direct connection is expected to further facilitate tourism, strengthen business linkages and support greater economic exchange between Goa and Gujarat.
Welcoming the launch of the new service, Minister for Tourism, Rohan A. Khaunte, said, "The commencement of the direct Goa-Mundra service marks another positive step in enhancing Goa's domestic air connectivity. Improved accessibility is integral to our vision of making Goa a destination that is easy to reach throughout the year. We welcome this new route and are confident it will further strengthen travel between Goa and Gujarat."
Kedar Naik, Director of Tourism, said, "Every new air route helps widen Goa's tourism footprint and improves access for travellers from across the country. The Goa-Mundra service opens another important gateway into the state, enabling more visitors from Gujarat and neighbouring regions to discover the diverse experiences that Goa has to offer."
