SATTE, South Asia’s biggest travel and tourism show, has closed the Domestic and International Buyer programme with record number of participation. The event is set to welcome total of 700 Buyers including 500 domestic and 200 international buyers. Being the leading show in South Asia, SATTE 2020 will be facilitating more than 21,000 pre-fixed meetings between sellers and buyers. The 27th edition of SATTE will see the presence of buyers from over 50 countries and 104 Indian cities.
SATTE’s foreign buyers programme is well supported by many stakeholders of the industry. Like previous years, the Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India has extended its support to SATTE by offering air passage to foreign buyers. Indian national carrier Air India has also come onboard as the ‘Airline Partner’ to further support International and Domestic Buyer programme. Moreover, airlines such as Air Arabia and Air Astana have agreed to bring buyers from their respective destinations to SATTE 2020. Inbound operators like Tamarind Global and Go India Journeys are already on board and sourcing buyers from across the world.
International associations like Universal Federation of Travel Agents Association (UFTAA) and Skal have continued to extend their support to SATTE’s foreign buyer programme. Indian Associations such as Indian Association of Tour Operators, Travel Agents Association of India, Travel Agents Federation of India and Outbound Tour Operators Association of India amongst others also supported SATTE’s buyer programme.
The 27th edition of SATTE is set to be organised from January 8 to 10, 2020 at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, Delhi – NCR.
