RTGA Delhi unveils new 2026-2028 leadership team; Anand K Pandey returns as President

The new leadership includes Poonam Wadhawan, Rajesh Gupta, Mahesh Rajmalani, and Avdhesh Mishra serving as Vice Presidents and others. Ajay Bahal takes on the role of General Secretary, supported by Girish Kumar as Joint Secretary. 

The Regional Tourist Guides Association (RTGA Delhi), representing the Incredible India Tourist Guides (IITGs) of the National Capital Region, announced the successful completion of its Governing Body election process and the constitution of its new leadership team for the term 2026–2028.

The election results were formally announced on June 11, 2026.In a notable display of industry unity, the leadership panel led by Anand Kumar Pandey was elected unopposed and unanimously by the Bonafide Members of RTGA Delhi, signaling a mandate for professional continuity and strategic growth.

The Governing Body of RTGA Delhi (2026–2028) includes Anand Kumar Pandey as President, with Poonam Wadhawan, Rajesh Gupta, Mahesh Rajmalani, and Avdhesh Mishra serving as Vice Presidents. Ajay Bahal takes on the role of General Secretary, supported by Girish Kumar as Joint Secretary. Gaurav Dayal serves as Finance Secretary, Sujata Solomon as Assistant Finance Secretary, and the Executive Members are Prem Tiwari, Niraj Kumar, Himanshu, Rohit Bisht, and Samidha Gupta.

The new administration takes office with a clear objective: to elevate the guiding profession through enhanced professional standards, sustainable tourism practices, and robust stakeholder collaboration.

The newly elected Governing Body reaffirms its commitment to working closely with the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, India Tourism Offices, Ministry of Culture, Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO), Federation of Associations in Indian Tourism & Hospitality (FAITH), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), travel trade associations, hospitality stakeholders, educational institutions, heritage organisations and tourism professionals in India and abroad for the continued growth and promotion of tourism.

Expressing his gratitude on behalf of the newly elected team, Pandey, President, RTGA Delhi, reaffirmed the Governing Body’s commitment to strengthening the guiding profession, promoting skill development and capacity building, supporting heritage conservation initiatives, enhancing visitor satisfaction and contributing constructively towards the growth of tourism under the spirit and vision of “Incredible India.”
