Qatar simplifies entry for Indian travellers with A1 Tourist Visa

Qatar is highlighting its A1 Tourist Visa as an entry option for Indian travellers, with applications processed through the official Hayya platform. Applicants must first create a Hayya account to begin the process. Each adult applicant requires a separate account linked to their email address and passport. Dependents, however, may be linked to the primary applicant’s account.

To apply for the A1 Tourist Visa, travellers wo upload a clear scan of their passport’s first and last pages combined into a single JPEG file, a passport-sized photograph against a white background, and a confirmed hotel booking.

Travellers staying with family or friends in Qatar are exempt from submitting a hotel booking confirmation. The visa option is aimed at Indian visitors travelling to Qatar for leisure, business stopovers and cultural experiences.
