Qatar Airways strengthens global network with return to Helsinki and Tokyo Haneda

The airline plans to operate flights from July 15 and increase frequency from August 1. Notably, the airline will serve over 160 global destinations this summer. 

Qatar Airways is expanding its services across international markets, and is resuming flights operations to Helsinki, Finland, and to Tokyo Haneda, Japan from July 15, 2026. 

As part of its commitment to furthering connectivity to Europe, the airline will operate four weekly flights to Helsinki from July 15 and increase its frequency to seven weekly flights from August 1. Travellers from Australia, Kenya, and Southeast Asia will benefit from the airline’s extensive global network.

The flights will operate every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday from Doha (DOH) to Helsinki (HEL) and vice versa. From August 1, additional flights will operate every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday on the same route.  

The airline will complement its service to Tokyo Narita (NRT) by returning to Tokyo Haneda (HND) with four weekly flights from July 15. Facilitating onward transfers in Japan for travellers from Europe and the Middle East, the airline will increase its operations to seven weekly flights from 1 August. 

Qatar Airways is furthering global connectivity by rebuilding its network to cover over 160 destinations across six continents this summer.
