Noel Mendes joins W Goa Hotel as Director of Operations

W Goa has announced the appointment of Noel Mendes as Director of Operations. Bringing over 14 years of experience in luxury hospitality, Mendes is recognised for his expertise in multi-venue operations, concept development, pre-openings, profitability enhancement, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. 

Mendes began his career in food and beverage and has held leadership roles with renowned hospitality brands including Grand Hyatt, Renaissance, St. Regis, and Four Seasons. With expertise spanning award winning restaurants, bars, banqueting, and private residences, he brings a well-rounded perspective on luxury hospitality. He has led teams of over 250 associates, managed F&B portfolios generating INR 112 crore in annual revenue, and driven growth through strategic pricing, menu engineering, cost optimisation, digital analytics, sustainability initiatives, and innovative revenue-enhancement programs, while maintaining strong standards in food safety, hygiene, and service excellence. 

In his new role, Mendes will leverage his extensive experience in luxury hospitality, commercial strategy, and team leadership to support W Goa’s continued growth. His expertise in multi-venue operations, concept development, profitability optimisation and service innovation positions him to contribute meaningfully to the resort’s operational success and strategic objectives.
