Also, Kundu, under the new ownership structure, will lead the integrated business as Chairman of the board & CEO alongside the founding team.
Travel industry veteran, Naveen Kundu has acquired a majority stake in Dubai-based VOYAGE 1, integrating the company with his destination marketing platform, Tourism Futures.AI. As per Kundu, the transaction marks the beginning of a new phase of growth, bringing together destination management expertise, global travel networks, and intelligent technology under a unified vision.
Under the new ownership structure, Kundu will lead the integrated business as Chairman of the board & CEO alongside the founding team.

Founded by Lavin Dhansinghani, Amit Kumar, and Vishal Dhansinghani, VOYAGE 1 is a Dubai-headquartered Destination Management Company (DMC) built on a ownership-led model with wholly owned operations across key international destinations. The company specialises in leisure travel, luxury holidays, corporate travel, MICE, and tailor-made destination experiences, serving travel agents, tour operators, and travel businesses across the globe. Notably, VOYAGE 1 operates through its own destination companies, ensuring greater operational control, consistent service delivery, stronger supplier relationships, and deeper destination expertise.
Currently, VOYAGE 1 has established operations across the UAE, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Vietnam, Japan, South Africa, Zambia, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Uganda, with an ambitious expansion roadmap into Europe, the Nordics, Thailand, and the Americas.

Kundu, with over 35 years of experience across travel, tourism, hospitality, corporate travel, destination management and MICE sectors, was previously the founder of Leisure corp which got acquired by then Nasdaq Listed Ebix INC. He then served the company as Managing Director from 2018 – 2025 and later founded Tourism Futures.AI, an AI-driven destination marketing and customer acquisition platform.
