The Mizoram government has signed a strategic MoU with the Central Committee of Young Mizo Association (CYMA) on August 11, 2024, to strengthen cooperation in promoting tourism in the state.
The state has witnessed a significant increase in tourist arrivals in recent times. To foster this development further, the agreement was signed in the presence of Tourism Secretary Vanlaldina Fanai and CYMA president R Lalngheta.
Tourism Minister Lalnghinglova Hmar said, “Tourist arrivals in our state have increased significantly in recent times, and there are many initiatives and plans in this sector. Although various steps are being taken in terms of infrastructure and other areas, the most important factor we need to address is human resources.” The minister emphasised that human resources remain the most critical factor that needs to be addressed.
