Luxury by Lemon Tree Hotels, received the Gold Certification from the Indian Green Building Council (I.G.B.C.).
Speaking on the occasion, Patanjali G. Keswani, Chairman & Managing Director, Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd. said, “We are honored and delighted to be the recipients of this prestigious award and it reinforces our focus on ESG even more. This is our seventh hotel to receive the I.G.B.C. Gold Certification, which is a reflection of our deep commitment to ensuring that the best ethical practices are adopted at our hotels. Our design approach looks at building hotels sustainably, and is centered on reducing the carbon footprint of each hotel.
This recognition would go a long way to motivate us to remain steadfast in our effort to certify all our hotels, as we have been building all our owned hotels to I.G.B.C.’s Gold specifications since 2012.” , Mr. Keswani added.
