ITA Airways Chosen As Official Carrier Of Monographic Exhibition By ‘Confindustria’

ITA Airways is the official carrier of the project ‘Imagining the Future. Leonardo da Vinci: In the Mind of an Italian Genius’ the monographic exhibition organized by ‘Confindustria’, the Association of Italian Industry, for the opening event of its new headquarter in Washington. The project developed in collaboration with Veneranda Biblioteca Ambrosiana was presented during an international press conference held at the Martin Luther King JR Memorial Library Auditorium in Washington D.C.

In its role of ambassador of Italian excellence in the world, ITA Airways, has supported the initiative – which has the patronage of the Italian Embassy and the Italian Cultural Institute in Washington D.C. – by transporting on board its flights from Rome Fiumicino’s Leonardo da Vinci airport to Washington Dulles, the delegation of Confindustria and a selection of 12 autograph pages belonging to Leonardo’s Codex Atlanticus which are works of unparalleled artistic and historical value and will be on display from June 22nd until 20th August at the Martin Luther King JR Memorial Library.
