IndiGo has announced the launch of direct flights connecting Kolkata (West Bengal) and Purnea (Bihar), thrice every week, starting September 15, 2025. Purnea is IndiGo’s 94th domestic and 137th overall destination, and fourth in Bihar after Patna, Gaya, and Darbhanga. Commencement of IndiGo’s service on this route will also mark the inauguration of the Purnea airport.
