IHG marks debut of Vignette Collection brand in Italy with 30-key hotel

Opened in partnership with Pacini Group, the property joins a global portfolio of over 34 Vignette Collection hotels found in 17 countries.

IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) introduces Vignette Collection to Italy with the opening of The Venice Times Hotel, Vignette Collection, in partnership with Pacini Group. Strategically located, the 30-room property is now open, and is the latest addition to IHG’s first collection brand underscoring IHG's commitment to strengthening its portfolio in Italy, while leveraging Pacini Group's well-established expertise and presence in the hospitality sector.

The 30-key The Venice Times, Vignette Collection features Manuzio Lounge, a sanctuary within the hotel for taking a moment to enjoy a cocktail or cicchetti (a Venetian snack) in a tranquil, intimate setting, complete with a secret garden made.

“As our second property with IHG, this project reflects the mutual trust and shared vision that continue to strengthen our collaboration over time. At Pacini Group, we believe that hospitality should create a genuine connection with its destination. With The Venice Times, we wanted to celebrate Venice's extraordinary artistic and cultural heritage, transforming it into an immersive guest experience where art, history and local identity become an integral part of every stay. We are proud to open this new chapter together with IHG and to bring Vignette Collection to Italy through a property that truly embodies the spirit of Venice,” said Emidio Pacini, CEO & Owner Pacini Group.

The Venice Times, Vignette Collection invites guest to create art in line with the history of the property, using a bespoke moveable-type kit in the lobby to make personalised postcards inspired by Aldo Manuzio, former resident and pioneering Italian Renaissance printer.
