IHG Hotels & Resorts signs Holiday Inn Express Krabi Ao Nang

The 158-key hotel will undergo a comprehensive rebranding programme ahead of its opening later this year. The hotel will offer an all-day dining restaurant, pool bar, swimming pool and fitness centre.
IHG Hotels & Resorts announced the signing of Holiday Inn Express Krabi Ao Nang, a 158-key conversion property in partnership with Chok Deesuk Co., Ltd., further expanding the company’s presence in one of Thailand’s most sought-after leisure destinations.
Following a rebrand, the hotel will join IHG’s globally recognised Holiday Inn Express brand and is set to open by the end of 2026.The signing builds on IHG’s longstanding relationship with the owner, who also owns the nearby Holiday Inn Resort Krabi Ao Nang Beach.

Holiday Inn Express Krabi Ao Nang will be the first Holiday Inn Express hotel in Thailand and the second in South East Asia to feature the brand’s latest Generation 5 (Gen 5) design. The Gen 5 design introduces flexible, experiential environments designed to attract and excite today’s travellers, encouraging guests to connect, work and unwind in intuitive social spaces.
