IHCL signs 20-key Tree of Life Kanadukathan in Chettinad

With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 33 hotels in Tamil Nadu including 14 under development.

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) announced the signing of Tree of Life Kanadukathan in Chettinad, Tamil Nadu. The brownfield project involves the conversion of an existing heritage-style Chettiar property.

Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said, “Chettinad’s rich architecture and cultural legacy continue to attract travellers seeking immersive experiences. Anchored in authenticity and a deep sense of place, Tree of Life brings its distinctive, experience-led approach to this setting. This signing presents an opportunity to pioneer a new destination and establish presence in an emerging heritage market. We are delighted to continue our partnership with AMPA Group for this project.”

Located in Kanadukathan, Chettinad, the 20-key Tree of Life Kanadukathan aims to reflect the architectural character of the region. The hotel houses an all-day dining restaurant and lounge. To unwind, guests can explore the swimming pool, spa and fully-equipped gym.
