Courtyard by Marriott debuts in Okinawa with 170-key property

Courtyard by Marriott, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of over 30 hotel brands, announces the opening of Courtyard by Marriott Okinawa Resort. The 170-room beachfront resort in Nago marks the brand’s debut in Okinawa, deepening Marriott International’s resort footprint in Japan’s southernmost prefecture, famous for its rich Ryukyuan culture, coral reefs and UNESCO-listed Yambaru National Park.

Designed by renowned Japanese architectural firm Kume Sekkei, the hotel’s interiors reflect brand’s modern aesthetic centered on comfort, functionality, and contemporary style. The property features 170 guestrooms and suites with modern amenities; dining options including all day dining restaurant, Shioka; lounge and bar; 24-hour fitness center; Okinawa’s ocean playground with a wide range of activities, Marine Club Berry; and for children, a Treehouse Kids’ Club. The property also offers 210-square-metres of natural light-filled spaces with 180-degree ocean views for events and weddings.
