BOC Aviation signs 2nd lease agreement with Akasa Air for 3 Boeing 737-8200

The aircrafts are scheduled for delivery by the end of 2026 and will be powered by CFM LEAP1B engines. 

BOC Aviation Limited (“BOC Aviation”) announced that it has agreed to purchase and leaseback a further three Boeing 737-8200 aircraft to existing customer Akasa Air (“Akasa”) on long-term operating leases. All aircraft will be powered by CFM LEAP1B engines, and all are scheduled for delivery by end-2026.   

“Following our successful transaction last November, we are pleased to be executing a further agreement with Akasa as it builds its business in India and beyond,” said Paul Kent, Chief Commercial Officer, BOC Aviation.
