Azerbaijan, Türkiye strengthen ties through Golf Tourism in Istanbul

ATB concludes a Golf tourism networking event in Istanbul on Sept 7.

The Representative Office of Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) in Türkiye hosted an exclusive Golf Tourism Networking Event in collaboration with “Dreamland Golf Club” and the Azerbaijan National Golf Club in Istanbul on September 7.

The event gathered leading professionals from Türkiye’s golf tourism industry, golf media and a representative of the Turkish Golf Federation.

ATB and participating club executives presented Azerbaijan’s emerging value proposition as a competitive high-end golf and luxury destination. Highlighted trade advantages included seamless regional connectivity via short flights from Istanbul and high-caliber infrastructure. The presentation showcased two key commercial assets: Dreamland Golf Club, situated 40 minutes from Baku’s city centre and UNESCO-listed historical district, and the Azerbaijan National Golf Club, positioned two hours north in Guba within the Caucasus region.

The event provided a platform for strengthening cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye’s golf and luxury tourism sectors, fostering new connections and opportunities for future collaboration.
