Souvagya Mohapatra, Managing Director – India, Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka at Atmosphere Core, has been appointed as the Chair of the FICCI Eastern Region Tourism Committee under the National Tourism Committee for a one-year term. The appointment acknowledges his extensive experience in the hospitality sector and his contributions to tourism development across regional and national markets.
Mohapatra brings more than three decades of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry. In his current role at Atmosphere Core, he oversees the company's strategic growth across India, Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka while supporting its broader expansion across the Asia-Pacific region.
In his new role with FICCI, Mohapatra is expected to work closely with industry leaders, government bodies and local communities to support tourism development initiatives across Eastern India and strengthen the region's tourism ecosystem.
