Akasa Air, Adani Airports to transfer Mumbai–Jeddah operations to NMIA

Effective December 2026, the airline will operate its flights between Mumbai and Jeddah from Navi Mumbai International Airport.

Akasa Air and Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL) announced phased transition of Akasa Air’s Mumbai–Jeddah operations from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) to Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA), supporting the development of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region’s dual-airport system.

Effective December 2026, Akasa Air will operate its flights between Mumbai and Jeddah from Navi Mumbai International Airport.

The move will further strengthen international connectivity from the new airport and will support the development of NMIA as an important aviation gateway for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, offering travellers greater choice and convenient access to air travel.
